We've seen how hard you have been working these past few months to prioritize your fitness and be consistent with your health goals. We stay proud of you and are here to encourage you to keep it up, échale ganas! I am writing this guide to remind you as you are being consistent with your fitness regimen, that you are also taking the time out to recover. The body needs rest too! Here at GLOW we offer a variety of ways to recover on your rest day, let’s talk about them! 


Cold Plunge Cryotherapy is the newest addition to the recovery options we have at GLOW. Cold Plunges are known to reduce inflammation and muscle soreness following a work-out, plus tons of other benefits. The cold water constricts blood vessels which can slow the blood flow and release the swelling and soreness.


Red Light Therapy is another great recovery tool available right here at GLOW. Red Light Therapy has many benefits that include repairing skin, reducing muscle fatigue, and influencing cortisol levels - which are linked to mood stabilization.

Foam Rollers are available, along with a Theragun!  Both are helpful with reducing muscle soreness, tightness, and inflammation in the body. They also support increasing range of motion through targeted usage. Theraguns are an amazing tool for those wanting a relaxing, stationary way to take care of their muscles. Theraguns can reduce the lactic acid build up produced by physical activity and improve blood circulation. The sensation can also provide stress relief and aid with sleep support.
